Class Rating is the speed at which each character ranks up an individual class, so the lower their Class Rating, the slower it takes for them to rank up the class.
Strategos is the default class of Isurd, a hero in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. To unlock this class and equip it to your main characters, you must first complete their Hero Quest: Unwavering Resolve.
Unwavering Resolve Walkthrough
After you unlock this class, it will have a rank cap of 10, so you are unable to upgrade its Arts and skills further than that rank. To break the rank cap and extend the limit up to Rank 20, you must first complete the quest Effervescent Heart.

The Strategos class primarily focuses on Healing and inflicting debuffs on enemies. Taion and Eunie with their high Healing Power stats make great Strategos characters. They also have high Class Ratings, making them rank up in the class quicker.

Two of the best arts in this class are Moondog and Mirror Trap, both amazing Healing Arts that increase ally HP in different ways. Though Earth Bind can be swapped out for No Love Lost, it is more recommended since this class does not have any Physical Attacks.

For Master Arts, we recommend equipping Arts that have useful buff or debuff effects since Strategos skills can increase their duration or add other effects on top of them.
Advanced Cooldown specifically is great to have because using it not only increases the team's Defense, but also their Attack thanks to the Prowess Gambit skill. However, if you plan using it alongside Moondog, you'll need to equip the All About Support Master Skill.

Though it is recommended keep the default Master Art for Strategos as it is the best option for the class. Healing Ring is also a good choice since it can take advantage of the other boosts given to Field Arts.
In addition, since it is a Talent Art, it does not count towards the maximum number of Field Arts allowable in the Arts palette.

The best Master Skills for Strategos characters are those that can increase the effectiveness of their buffs or debuffs. Ethereal Ability is also a notable skill since most of the Arts in this class are Ether Attacks.
All About Support is only recommended if you plan to equip at least two Field Arts. Otherwise, Sappy Sappy Drain! would make a great alternative.

For Rank 15 Master Skills, Eternal Formation is most recommended especially if you plan on having more than one Field Art. Abundant Oceans is also good to have, but it is only available in the Post Game, so the former skills are better for a first playthrough of the game.

Since the Strategos class benefits from having high Healing Power, increasing their Healing stat with accessories is a welcome improvement. Reducing their aggro is also essential since Strategos builds usually have lower defenses than most classes.
Since many of the buffs and debuffs that they grant on the battlefield are from their Master Arts, having them pre-charged at the start of a battle comes in handy.

Strategos already has skills that can extend the duration of buffs and debuffs, but it lacks the ability to increase their power. Granting this ability with gems is ideal. Disperse Bloodlust is also recommended in addition to the Affection Ring since not all Arts in the class are Healing Arts.
