Valdi will join your party during the Hero Quest: The Kind Right Hand and becomes a recruitable hero upon completing the mission. This Hero Quest can be accepted in Chapter 3, and is required to complete the main story of the game.

Strengths

Valdi is a superb Healer to the point that he can often keep your party in great shape without needing support from other healing classes, making him very helpful during tough Boss battles.

Weaknesses

While his healing abilities are superb, Valdi offers little on the offensive end due to his mediocre attacking stats and lack of offensive Arts. His low defenses also mean that his HP needs to be constantly watched.

As a War Medic, Valdi excels at keeping his allies healthy, making Heal Bullet and Trickshot very useful techniques during battle. While not the best on offense, Valdi's Surprise Beat let him deal more damage to Machine enemies, who are often difficult to take down.
