Aetia Region

Hillside Ferronis Hulk Location

You will encounter this Ferronis Hulk at the start of chapter 2 once you reach south of the Aetia Region. You need to reboot this Ferronis Hulk to progress through the story quest.

Battlescar Ferronis Hulk Location

This Ferronis Hulk can be found all the way north of the Aetia Region near the Torchlight Hill landmark. Players may be able to recognize this place as the starting area of the game.

Don't be fooled just because it's in the starting area, as the enemies guarding the Ferronis Hulks are above level 50.

Fornis Region

Desert Ferronis Hulk Location

The Desert Ferronis Hulk can be found northeast of Raptor Perch Landmark, near the edge of the map.

Tableland Ferronis Hulk Location

Near the Saffronia Tree landmark, before arriving at the Old Kana Battlefield, there is a tunnel you can enter through the southwest cliffs. Following the tunnel, you can find the Tableland Ferronis Hulk near the edge of the cliff.

Pentelas Region

Cascade Ferronis Hulk Location

The Cascade Ferronis Hulk can be found at the top-most area of the waterfalls, just before following the path to the Old Way Camp.

Clifftop Ferronis Hulk Location

The Clifftop Ferronis Hulk can be found north of the Pentelas Region. To get there, you need some progress in Chapter 4 to unlock the Engardo Pass Camp. Once you do, head northwest of the camp, and you will see a locked door operated by a switch.

Unlock the door by interacting with the switch and follow the bridge where Keves and Agnus forces are fighting. At the end of the bridge, climb up the cliff to get to the Clifftop Ferronis Hulk.

Cadensia Region

Atoll Ferronis Hulk Location

The Atoll Ferronis Hulk can be found northwest of the Vinisog Holm Camp in the Cadensia Region.

Sandbar Ferronis Hulk Location

You can find the Sandbar Ferronis Hulk in the middle of the Cadensia Region, north of the Eternal Canopy landmark. The hulk is located at the center of the island, and you need to unlock Scree walking to get there.

Once you reach the southern part of the Aetia Region after completing chapter 1, you'll be introduced to your first Ferronis Hulk. You will be required to reboot its power to progress through the story quest.

To be able to do a reboot, you first need to take care of the enemies surrounding the Ferronis Hulk. There are usually a lot of elite Elite Monsters surrounding it, so it's best to lure one and gradually pick them off this way.

Reboot Ferronis Hulk With Ether

XC3 - ether channel
To activate a Ferronis Hulk, you need to collect Ether found from extracting Ether Channels. They look like green light sources coming out of the ground and can be found just about anywhere on the field, showing up as a star-shaped symbol on the map.

Once you collected enough Ether to activate the Ferronis Hulk, simply climb up the ladder and use the Ether Cylinder to reboot it.

A Place Where you can Rest

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - Becomes a Resting Place
Activating a Ferronis Hulk will give you a place to rest where you can cook, clean yourself up, create gems, and more!

Allows You to Meet More Traderpons

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - Merchant Hot Spot
Traderpons will become available once you reboot the Ferronis Hulk. They will set up their shop inside the hulk, where they can provide players useful accessories or items in exchange for gold.

Getting all the Ferronis Hulks is also needed to get all the Nopon Caravans for the Nopon Register quest.

Gain Access to Fabricators

Each Ferronis Hulk comes with a Fabricator that provides players with very rare and difficult to acquire items in exchange for spending gold.

Rebooting a Ferronis Hulk allows it to become a location where you will be able to skip travel to access nearby resources.
