Complete Prerequisite Quests

To get Ashera's ascension quest to appear, you have to progress through the story quest, finish all the prerequisite quests in Colony 11, and have Ashera in your party before traveling to Old Kana Battlefield in the Fornis Region.

Meet Ashera in the Old Kana Battlefield

Head to the Old Kana Battlefield in the Fornis Region with Ashera in your party to start the quest "A Deep-Seated Scar". You'll receive a call from Zoren through Ashera about an impending attack against the colony from Consul R.

Defend Colony 11 from Consul R

After receiving the call from Zoren, travel to the Penshia Portal Landmark in the Syra Hovering Reefs to assist Colony 11 soldiers against Consul R's forces. The party will have to face both Keves and Agnus Soldiers while attempting to fall back to Colony 11.

Find Ashera in Colony 11

During the fight, Consul R will appear before the party to invite Ashera to a duel. After accepting the duel, Consul R's forces will disappear, and you'll be free to head inside Colony 11.

However, Ashera will stray off from the group, and you'll have to find her to continue the quest.

How to Recruit Ashera and Hero Rating

Head to the Location of the Duel

After talking with Ashera, the party decides to go ahead and travel to Hovering Reef 0, an area below Keves Castle, for the duel. You can get there through a zipline from the Hovering Reef 5, northwest of the Hovering Reef 2 Camp rest spot.

Upon your arrival, Consul R appears before the party as promised. After a brief discussion, however, Consul R betrays everyone by turning Ashera into a puppet with the help of Consul W. The party must defeat Ashera to bring her back to her senses.

Defeat Consul R and Consul W

After turning Ashera back to normal, the party will have to fight both Consul R and Consul W. Upon their defeat, the party heads back to Colony 11, where Eunie and Ashera will have another discussion about their situation before concluding the quest.
