Chapter 3 Objectives

| 1 | Head for the Colony 4 Ferronis to speak with Ethel. |
| 2 |  Complete the Standard Quest, Helping Out In addition to talking to NPCs with a star on their names, try to talk or simply approach those with an "i" and see if you can gather useful info. |
| 3 |  Complete the Hero Quest, No Want of Courage. Ethel will join the party after completing the quest. |
| 4 |  During the quest, No Want of Courage, you will have to reach the Wall of the Great Hand in Fornis Region, where a crescent wall is shown on the map. |
| 5 |  In order to reach the objective on the other side of the wall, move towards the crescent's first upward slope and go straight head. At your right, you will see a tunnel leading to the other side. When you arrive at the marker, defeat the enemies and retrieve the dropped supplies. |
| 6 | Rest up at the Colony 4 Barracks to progress the main story. After resting, you must go to Colony 4 Command and announce your departure. |
| 7 | Go southeast from Ribbi Flats |
| 8 |  Complete the Hero Quest, The Kind Right Hand. In the quest, you will need to collect a Levnis Endoskeleton, a Levnis Self-Charger, and a Levnis Auxillary CPU. After completing the quest, Valdi will join your party. |
| 9 | In the quest, after following the mini Levnis to Colony 30, you will need to defeat the large, incomplete Levnis. You need to reach at least Level 20 to increase your fighting chance. However, if you're still at a lower level, you can level up by EXP Farming or assigning four healers in your party setup. |
| 10 | Gather up info in Colony 30 Approach or talk to the NPCs marked with an "i". |
| 11 | Return to the Colony 30 center |
| 12 | Climb the cliff near Elsie's Spout. Look for the violet flowers with glowing yellow pick-axe icons that run alongside the mountain edges, as these are the only paths that can allow you to climb the terrain. |
| 13 | Head to the southeast of Fornis region. Along the way, you will encounter a second Levnis, which you will have to defeat. |
| 14 | Rest up at the Seilas Terrace Camp. |
| 15 | Reach the tunnels in the Pentelas region. |
| 16 | Progress through the Urayan Tunnels. |
| 17 |  Complete the Standard Quest, A Nopon's Counsel. In the quest, you must navigate the tunnels, investigate three Mineral Deposits and defeat Princess Arachno. You must be at least Level 24 to defeat the enemy. If you're still at a lower level, you can farm more EXP or make use of your Interlinks during the fight. After completing the quest, Riku and Manana will join your party. |
| 18 | Continue progressing through the Urayan Tunnels and reach the underground river. |
| 19 | Escape from the pursuers Ouroboros Orders during Chain Attacks will be unlocked on the second boss fight with Consul J. You need to be at least Level 27 to increase your chances of winning the battle. |
| 20 | Head to Colony Lambda. |
| 21 | Search for Isurd. |
| 22 | Head outside Colony Lambda. |
Ethel Joins Your Party
Ethel will join your party after completing the Hero Quest, No Want of Courage. Noah will be able to switch to Ethel's class, Flash Fencer, right away, while the others will need to finish a certain number of battles first with Ethel or any Flash Fencer before it unlocks on them.
Take note that Ethel will leave the party after announcing your departure from Colony 5 so be sure to unlock her class on your party members before progressing.
Valdi Joins Your Party
Completing the Hero Quest, The Kind Right Hand, unlocks Valdi as a Hero for your party. Lanz will be the initial inheritor of his class, War Medic. This class specializes in healing, making it an excellent addition to your party if you still lack survivability.

Riku and Manana Join Your Party
The last heroes to join your party while progressing the main story are Riku and Manana, who joins after completing A Nopon's Counsel. Sena will be their class inheritor. Yumsmiths specialize in attacking and inflicting debuffs.

Execute an Ouroboros Order
Starting from the second boss battle, you will now be able to execute Ouroboros Order during Chain Attacks. Ouroboros Orders only appear in the order selection after successfully executing orders from an Ouroboros pair.
For example, you will need to execute orders from both Noah and Mio before their Ouroboros Order, Death of 1,000 Cuts, becomes available on the selection.
Ourboros Orders deal massive amounts of damage to your target, but will instantly end the Chain Attack unless you initiate the Chain Attack with an active Interlink at Interlink lv3.
