1. Complete the Quest "Lovebirds"

Before you can get Gray's ascension quest, you need to finish the quest "Lovebirds", which you can get from getting info fragments in the City.

2. Head to the City with Gray

After completing the quest "Lovebirds", head to the City with Gray and find a question mark west of the Memorial Hall to start the ascension quest.

3. Find the Origin Shard in Daedal Isle

Rozana will ask you to head to the Daedal Isle in the Cadensia Region to gather Origin Shards. Once you arrive at the location, no shards can be found, but instead, you'll be greeted with an ambush by a group known as Hardliners.

4. Travel to the Astelle Harbor in the City

Once you've beaten up the Hardliners, make your way back to the Astelle Harbor in the City, where you will be approached by Travis. He'll tell you something about Rozana and how she's acting suspiciously.

5. Gather Information About Rozana's Whereabouts

Learning that Rozana is nowhere to be found, the group decides to ask Gray's previous companions about her location. After collecting all the info fragments, head to a rest spot to discuss it.

6. Investigate the Area at the Great Sword Passage

After figuring out where Rozana might have been, travel to The Swordface landmark in Cadensia region and head inside the Great Sword's Base. Gray will show you a hidden passage inside that will lead you to Rozana.

7. Defeat the Hardliners

Head inside the headquarters and fight the Hardliners and a Lv.52 Evolved Sentry. The quest will conclude after you defeat the opposing faction.
