Completing this quest allows you to rank up the Martial Artist class past Rank 10, all the way up to Rank 20. Since Ghondor is a Hero, their class also instantly ranks up to Rank 20.

1. Take Ghondor to Agnus Castle
To get the ascension quest for Ghondor, you need to rank your Martial Artist to 10 and bring Ghondor with you to Agnus Castle. You will find a question mark at the Ascension Grounds, and approaching it will trigger a cutscene that should start the quest "Knowing Your Family".

2. Head to Singbreeze Funnel Area
Travel to the Singbreeze Funnel Area in the Fornis Region, where you'll find a group of injured Keves soldiers. Talk to them to locate the monster.
Once you get to the location the soldier told you about, you'll find more Keves soldiers under attack by Giant Gogols. Defeat them to help the soldiers.

3. Hunt Down the Jumbo Tirkin
After you rescue the soldiers, they'll tell you about a Tirkin that attacked them before the Giant Gogols. While the party is having a discussion, a Jumbo Tirkin is seen by Ghondor walking behind the party.
The Tirkin runs away after it's been noticed, so now the party must follow its track to hunt it down.
4. Gather Materials for the Jumbo Tirkin
Clearing up the misunderstanding, you decide to help the Jumbo Tirkin by foraging some materials to use in their journey to a better place.

5. Defeat the Kevesi Soldiers
After you gather all the materials, head back to the Jumbo Tirkin to see him being attacked by a bunch of Kevesi Soldiers. Assist the Jumbo Tirkin by fending off the Kevesi attackers to conclude the quest and unlock Martial Artist to rank 20.
