The way to the Distant Fingertip can be found in the western portion of the Fornis Region. In order to access this area, you will need to have finished Valdi's Hero Quest since you need the Wall Climbing Field Skill to reach this secret area.

Note: Do note that despite the recommended level, early-game players can still reach this area without having to fight anything. Simply hug the area borders leading to the Climbable Walls and immediately climb them. If you alert any enemies, climbing immediately cancels their aggro.

1
If you do not have the Visura Parkland Camp unlocked, start from the Singbreeze Funnel landmark. Work your way west towards the climbable wall indicated in the map above.
2
Climb the wall. If you are below the recommended level, ignore the Elite Worker Arachno that spawns and simply climb to lose aggro.
3
At the top of the cliff, turn right and face the large vertical structure. The climbable wall will be the one that looks like a ladder's rungs.
Note: This is one of the few climbable walls in the game that does not have the distinct purple vine model, making it easy to miss at first glance.
4 Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - Keep Climbing Up
Proceed up the many climbable walls and follow the path. There is only a single way up, so it should be easy from here on out to reach the Distant Fingertip secret area.

You missed a secret area in Castle 5th floor. With one of the post game heros you can open a secret door near an elevator accessed behind the throne in the throne room. Alternatively you can fall from a higher place.
