Class Rating is the speed at which each character ranks up an individual class, so the lower their Class Rating, the slower it takes for them to rank up the class.
Signifer is the default class of Fiona, a hero in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. To unlock this class and equip it to your main characters, you must first complete their Hero Quest: Transparent Dreams.
Transparent Dreams Walkthrough
After you unlock this class, it will have a rank cap of 10, so you are unable to upgrade its Arts and skills further than that rank. To break the rank cap and extend the limit up to Rank 20, you must first complete the quest A Farewell Reset.

Characters that have low TP are suitable for Healer roles since they do not get any bonuses for attacking first in the chain. Most of the stats of this class are even across the board, so the specific character matters very little to the class.

The Signifer class specializes in casting buffs and giving them to allies. Since Aureole only grants you one random buff, it is best to instead use different Master Arts to grant you the specific buffs you want. Cry of Faith is more than enough to grant you with multiple buffs.
Heal Harmony can be used to heal your allies while Spirited Charge is kept as your one offensive attack. Grant yourself many buffs to increase the power of Spirited Charge.

Master Arts that give you more beneficial buffs are ideal so you can use Resonant Flag and Cry of Faith to pass them on to allies. In this case, Shadow Eye and Cross Impact can give you Attack Up and Power Charge, both incredibly useful buffs.
Though Multi Blast does not grant any buffs, it is also a good Art to allow for instant healing in a pinch.

Instead of granting all your allies two random buffs, you can replace your Talent Art with a specific buff instead. Deflector Field works well if you have a Seraph or Guardian Commander in your party since sharing Awakening with them grants them additional benefits.
Glittering Melody is also a great Art since it can extend the duration of the other buffs you already applied to all your allies.

Healer Skills are the best to master for this class since it allows them to be more effective at their role. Strengthening Gambit is especially important as it gives you a longer window of opportunity to pass on your buffs.

Another Healer Skill that works well with Signifers is the Abundant Oceans skill. However, since it is only available in the Post Game, the skills above are recommended for a first playthrough.

Accessories that are recommended for Healers are great for Signifer characters since they increase the effectiveness of their arts.
Aggro-reducing accessories also work well to keep enemies away from your Signifers. The Silver Necklace is recommended since the class is an Agnus class, which recharges Arts with Auto-Attacks.

The best Gems to equip onto Signifers are those that improve their buff effects either by giving them more power or extending their duration.
As an Agnus class, Signifer recharges its Arts with Auto-Attacks, so shortening their intervals will allow you to use your Arts quicker, which is important in fulfilling your role in the team.

This guide is wrong, Resonant Flag doesn't share the effects of field buffs like Advanced Cooldown because they are not directly assignes to the character.
