| 1 | Pass through the Great Cotte Falls. |
| 2 | Rest up at the Titan Rock Camp. |
| 3 | Pass through the Great Cotte Falls. |
| 4 | Descend down the Old Cliffside Way. |
| 5 | Reach Maktha Wildwood. |
| 6 | Progress through Maktha Wildwood. |
| 7 |  Complete the Hero Quest, Natural Selection. Juniper will join the party after the quest. You will also be able to slide ropes using Juniper's Traversal Skill. |
| 8 | Continue progressing through Maktha Wildwood. |
| 9 |  Complete the Standard Quest, Imminent Illusion, by defeating the Mysterious Raider. Focus on your hits, buffs, and Chain Attacks to defeat the enemy. However, mid-battle, the Mysterious Raider will suddenly disappear before you can defeat it, automatically completing the short Standard Quest. |
| 10 | Go back to following the objective marker. |
| 11 | Rest up at the Sparkling Pool Camp. |
| 12 |  Complete the Standard Quest, Stolen Provisions. In this quest, you will be required to get three Luscious Fillets by defeating three Eregaa Anloods. After that, you will also need three Yellowgrove Kelp Mushrooms. |
| 13 | Return to the Sparkling Pool Camp. |
| 14 | Pass through Maktha Wildwood and reach the Castle You will be engaged in back-to-back boss fights upon reaching Engardo Pass so be prepared before approaching the objective marker. Before engaging, make sure to check your Classes, Gems, and Skills. Equip Valdi to increase your Chain Attacks and Ouroboros Orders in defeating two Ferronis, which are mechas. After the two Ferronis, defeat Moebius O and P. |
| 15 | Reach the Castle |
| 16 | Reach the container at the Castle's back entrance You can gather ether from the Ether Mine on your right before you slide down the rope. |
| 17 |  Reach the Annahilator's power core. The trick to get through the entrances, you must isolate the guards and take them down one by one. Avoid alerting more enemies than you could possibly handle. When you arrive at the objective, you must defeat Moebius D. |
| 18 |  Escape from the Castle Follow the marker once again to escape from the castle. During the escape, you must also defeat the Queen of Keves. |
Juniper Joins the Party
Juniper will join your party after completing Natural Selection. Juniper's class, Stalker, specializes in attacking enemy weakpoints from a distance and can place the Art Follow-Up field buff.
Adding Juniper to the team also unlocks the Traversal Skill that allows you to slide down ropes, which you will also need to progress the story.

Obtain The Art of Flow
Juniper will also give you The Art of Flow, allowing you to cancel Arts with another Art. Originally, you can only cancel Arts with Fusion Arts or Talent Arts but with this item, basic Arts can now be used back-to-back through canceling.
Use Interlinks and Ouroboros Orders
Before you reach the Castle, you will first go through two boss fights, with the first one against Cammuravi and Ethel in their Ferronis. Boss fights will gradually become more difficult so try to master the combat mechanics, especially the Chain Attacks.
In cases that you don't have Healing Arts ready, remember that you can also prevent a character from fainting by triggering an Interlink or a Chain Attack. Additionally, you can instantly execute an Ouroboros Order in a Chain Attack if you have an active Lv3 Interlink and deal tons of damage to your target.
Ether Mines Before the Castle
Make a right before sliding down the rope leading to the Castle to find an Ether Mine where you will find a few enemies and several Ether Channels you can drain. There are more Ether Channels past the next rope, but you shouldn't miss this spot if you're in need of ether.
Elite and Unique Monsters Inside the Castle
The inside of the Castle is crawling with enemies, including Elite enemies and some Unique ones. This is a good opportunity to rack up huge amounts of EXP and CP as well as practice your boss wrangling skills!
