You Can Only Customize Costumes

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - Customize Characters
You can only customize your character's cosmetics by selecting which uniform they wear. Players may personalize their characters by choosing which outfit to equip.

More Color Schemes in the Expansion Pass

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Costume Color Variations

The costumes of the six main characters will get additional color variations with the Expansion Pass sold separately from the base game. These different color variations will allow you to further customize your characters according to your style.

Players may also purchase accessories to equip on their character. These accessories can be bought at Colonies and can increase certain stats.

Change Classes

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Changing Classes

You can change the class of any of your characters at any time in the Class Selection Menu, as long as the selected class is unlocked. Changing a character's class will change their stats and available arts, so make sure to keep this in mind while selecting a new class.

Mio Short or Long Hair - Xenoblade Chronicles 3
There is that you can change looks further down in the game. This edit is only available for Mio which allows you to choose a longer hairstyle for her or retain her usual short hair character model in-game!
