DLC Expansion Pass Wave 2 Release Date and Time

Now Available in All Regions Starting October 13

The DLC Expansion Pass Wave 2 for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 released on October 13, 2022 for fans in the US. Meanwhile, those in Japan and the UK can enjoy the new contents of the game on October 14, 2022.

However, you can still purchase the Expansion Pass after these dates to enjoy the newest additions to the game!

New Hero - Ino

Ino is the newest hero in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. She looks mechanical despite having human-like features.

According to the official Xenoblade Japanese Twitter account, Ino is an Artificial Blade made by a Great Nopon. This is probably why the latest addition to the crew speaks like a Nopon too!

Purchase the Expansion pass and complete her Hero Quest to recruit her to your team.

Challenge Battles

Challenge battles will also be available in the Expansion Pass Wave 2 to test your team! Fight consecutive waves of tough enemies and emerge victorious to earn rewards.

Successfully clearing a Challenge Battle will also reward you with a different type of currency that you can use to buy rare accessories. Aim to get a Rank A or Rank S in every challenge for even better rewards!

Special Outfits

You can also get Special Outfits for your characters when you purchase the Expansion Pass. This includes a swimwear for Noah and the rest of the group!

Each of the heroes' swimsuits can be obtained by completing Challenge Battles in the Expansions Pass Wave 2.

Fans from the US can purchase the DLC Expansion Pass Wave 2 at the Nintendo eShop for $29.99 while those in the UK can get it from the Nintendo Store UK for £26.99.

Doing so will not only give you the contents of Expansion Pass Wave 2 but also the succeeding waves that are expected to arrive in 2023.

After purchasing the Expansion Pass, open the game then press X to bring up the menu. Next, go to the Expansion Pass tab and choose which Volume you want to get. Lastly, press Y to receive that volume's contents and you're good to go!
