Completing this quest allows you to rank up the Thaumaturge class past Rank 10, all the way up to Rank 20. Since Teach is a Hero, their class also instantly ranks up to Rank 20.

1. Progress Through Teach's Teachers

To get the quest "Shadow of Enmity," you'll have to progress through "Teach's Teachers," which involves a series of quests where you help the people of Colony Gamma to become fully fledged soldiers.

2. Talk to Teach in Colony Gamma

After finishing all the pre-requisite quests, head back and talk to Teach in his room at Colony Gamma. You'll need to have someone equipped with Rank 10 Thaumaturge and with Teach in your party to access the quest.

3. Defeat the Agnian Squads in Everblight Plains

Teach will now tell you to head to Everblight Plains, where you will fight against Agnian Squads in large-scale maneuvers. Defeat all 3 Agnian squads around the map, then rendezvous with them afterward.

4. Find and Save Kyrie

Amidst the fighting, Kyrie will stray away from her squad, become lost, and be kidnapped by a Kevesi soldier. You'll have to locate her position, but luckily, Teach knows where she is.

Head to the designated location to save Kyrie and confront the Kevesi soldier.

5. Defeat the Avenger

Arriving at Kyrie's location, the party will have to fight the kidnapper named Avenger, who is keen to meet Teach's demise. The fight involves 2 phases, with the latter unlocking Teach's "All-Slayer" Art which he uses to defeat the Avenger to save Kyrie and finish the quest.
