Perilwing Ryuho Movement Pattern Adjustment

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - Perilwing Ryuho Movement Pattern Change

According to the Official Nintendo Support Website, Perilwing Ryuho’s behavior pattern was altered, making it undefeatable if you fight it in an area that cannot be reached during your current main story progression.

After the update, Perilwing Ryuho no longer circles the northwest side of Coolley Lake. Instead, now only circles the center to southeast portion of the lake. This fix was done so that players can no longer aggro the superboss from Cooley Pool Camp area in Melnath's shoulder before they reach Upper Aetia in the later stages of the Main Story.

Minor Gameplay Improvements

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - Version 1.1.1 Update

In addition to the change to Perilwing Ryuho, the developers have also introduced the following bug fixes to allow for a better gameplay experience.

  • Fixed a bug in Teach's Ascension Quest, Shadow of Enmity, that sometimes prevented the first battle you fight from ending.
  • Fixed a bug that occurred during the Severed Connection Standard Quest which sometimes prevented the fight with the Mysterious Raider in Murmur Rise from ending.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Gogol Dalm and Gogol Vuaga Collectibles from being unavailble, preventing players from completing the Collectopaedia Card of Colony Gamma's Nagumo.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the various effects of different food from working. This fix does not affect the Sunny-Style Fish Pie bought from the Colony Mu Canteen and the Baked Spongy Spud bought from the Colony 9 Canteen.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Talent Art button to disappear, preventing players from using it. If you have already experience this bug within your current save, restarting the game after Update 1.1.1 has been applied should fix the issue.
  • Fixed a problem in which the text Verkaufen in the store menu was overlapping the adjacent text when Language Settings was set to German.
  • In addition, several other issues have been fixed to make the game more enjoyable to play.

What happened previously if you somehow beat Perilwing Ryuho in an area he's not meant to be accessible in? did it give you the grave marker and let you sequence break?
