How to Unlock Ghondor

Complete Chapter 5 of the Main Story

Ghondor is part of the main story, and must be recruited as a Hero in order to progress through the game. Though she temporarily joins your team throughout Chapter 5, she is only permanently recruited after completing the chapter.

At the very beginning of Chapter 6, you will speak with her in Agnus Castle where she will permanently join your party.

Description
Ghondor is the daugher of Monica and granddaughter of Guernica Vandham. She was imprisoned at Li Garte Prison Camp and has two bodyguards named Aggy and Oggy.

Though Ghondor is not affiliated with either Keves or Agnus, her class is officially classified as an Agnus class.

Ghondor Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths

Ghondor is a formidable Brawler character with hard-hitting but also lightning-quick attacks. Her Auto-Attacks are some of the quickest of any Hero in the game, and since her class is classified as Agnus, this also means that her Arts recharge faster.

Weaknesses

As a short-ranged Attacker, Ghondor is almost always on the front lines of battle. Though her defensive stats are decent, she may still easily go down if not properly healed or defended by allies.

Additionally, the power of her Talent Art depends on the amount of charge each of her other Arts have. This includes Master Arts, but since she is a hero, she cannot equip Master Arts. This limits the power of her Talent Art significantly.

Knowing Your Family

After recruiting Ghondor, they and their class will be capped at Rank 10. To break the class limit and rank them up to Rank 20, you must first complete their Ascension Quest: Knowing Your Family.

Since her Talent Art consumes the charge of her other Arts, Focus is an essential Art to speed up their recharge. Her two other recommended Arts have high Attack power and can be used for attack canceling.
