Triton has incredibly high Attack and Dexterity, so his attacks hit hard and rarely miss. Due to his Skills, he is an excellent Attacker to bring along to a boss fight or any long, drawn out battle where some of your characters may go down.
His decent defenses and HP also means he can take a few more hits compared to other Attacker Heroes in the game.
Although Triton has the Soulhacker class, he lacks its versatility and flexibility because he is unable to make use of the Enemy Arts and Skills you have gained. Though his default Arts and Skills are by no means subpar, it does limit his usability in your team.
After recruiting Triton, they and their class will be capped at Rank 10. To break the class limit and rank them up to Rank 20, you must first complete their Ascension Quest: My Memories.
Art | Attack Type | AoE | Base Effect |
---|---|---|---|
Captain Strike | Physical Attack | One Target | 40% chance to ignore defense. |
Ultra Boost | Stance | Self | Boosts damage dealt by 50% and damage taken by 25%. |
Magnificent Fist | Physical Attack | One Target | Other arts recover 25% recharge when Art hits. |
Many of Captain's Arts take a while to recharge, so giving him Magnificent Fist is ideal to increase his recharge speed. Ultra Boost also works well with Triton due to his relatively decent defenses.

Worth noting his arts upgrade immediately after fulfilling the requirements for the upgraded versions. If you use him regularly he’ll be hitting for more than double the listed modifiers. Plus all his reactions and skills gain better stats, and recharges are reduced. He’s the only dps that can do this before chapter 6 and with minimal actual effort.
