Does Xenoblade 3 Have Multiplayer?

Only a Singleplayer Experience

As with the previous entries in the series, it is perhaps safe to assume that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will retain its single-player element. This wouldn't be a surprise as previous games in the series allowed the player to switch between party members.

Increased Party Members

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - 7 party members
In a trailer released by Nintendo, it was revealed that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will allow for up to 7 party members that can battle together concurrently.

Previous games only allowed for 3 members simultaneously in battle so while multiplayer is unlikely, having more characters to choose from during battle is something players can expect in this game.

Possible Online Features

Squads

A previous game in the series, Xenoblade Chronicles X, introduced Squads which allowed players to join a team of up to 32 players. Players in a squad would be able to clear Squad Missions as well as four-player Squad Quests. Four-player squads can also team up to fight against a World Boss anytime one would appear.
