Complete 'Dorin and Bambam'

The Standard Quest 'Dorin and Bambam' needs to be completed first before you can unlock 'Fear of the Unknown'.

'Dorin and Bambam' can be unlocked at Colony 4 by discussing the topic 'Colony 4 Nopon' at a rest spot. This topic can be obtained by listening to the two NPCs talking by the stairs inside the Ferronis Hatch.

Defeat the Lepus at Old Kana Battlefield

Defeating the Lv. 24 Lepus at Old Kana Battlefield is also required before you can unlock the quest 'Fear of the Unknown'. It is a part of the main quest in Chapter 3 so you can't miss it!

After defeating the Lepus, rest at Seilas Terrace Camp at the southern area of Fornis Region to unlock the quest 'Fear of the Unknown'.

Find the source of the mysterious sound Get a Serenity Jet Defeat the Medolya Feris Collec the contents of the Airdrop Container

Find the Source of the Mysterious Sound

The source of the mysterious sound can be found at BIttley Slope - just south of Seilas Terrace Camp.

To get there, head south and keep walking uphill towards the quest marker.

Get a Serenity Jet

Turns out that the sound Dorin and Bambam are hearing are from an airdrop container that is experiencing an error. Collect a Serenity Jet at Old Kana Battlefield to get it working again.

Old Kana Battlefield is just northwest of Seilas Terrace Camp. You can go there by foot or by skip travelling to the landmark itself. Return to Dorin and Bambam at Bittley Slope once you have found a Serenity Jet.

Defeat the Medolya Feris

Defeat the Lv. 25 Medolya Feris that attacks your group upon arriving at Bittley Slope. It isn't particularly strong so defeating it will be easy.

Collect the Contents of the Airdrop Container

Disappointed that the contents of the container are not food, Dorin and Bambam give them to your team instead! The quest will be completed after collecting the items below.
