Can't Stop, Won't Stop Bug

Bug Prevents Quest Completion

FF7 Rebirth - Can

In Version 1.020, players have encountered a bug that prevents them from completing the final side quest, Can't Stop, Won't Stop. This bug occurs right after attaining the objective score in the Expert course of the G-Bike minigame.

Downgrade to Version 1.000

While the bug is fixable by downgrading to Version 1.000, it can only be done by those with the game's physical copy. An announcement for the bug fix is yet to be announced.

How to Downgrade to Patch v1.000
1. Uninstall the game, but keep your save data
2. Disable the internet in Network Settings of the PS5
3. Turn off Automatic Updates in Saved Data and Game/App Settings
4. Reinstall the game from your physical disc

Fixed Issue with Red XIII's Abilities

Supernal Fervor Grant Haste on all party members. Can only be used during Vengeance Mode.Costs 2 ATB.

The 1.020 update fixed an issue where Red XIII's abilities Supernal Fervor and Watcher's Spirit were easily canceled during battle under certain conditions.

Graphical Improvements

It's listed in the patch notes that graphical improvements are implemented with the new update. However, the changes are not specified aside from improved frame rate and stability.

In addition to graphical improvements, new optimization options have also been added to the game. Players are now able to choose whether they want their game to prioritize graphics or performance.

This patch also introduced a quest progression bug with the UPA G-Bike challenge portion of Can't Stop Won't Stop side-quest. Only currently viable workaround is limited to physical copy owners and is to reinstall the game from disc without allowing the update to be downloaded/installed.
