Mastery and Nothingness can be unlocked by checking the available side quests from the Adventure Seeker. If this side quest isn't available, you can pay the NPC gold to shuffle the zone and side quests or check again the next day until it appears.
Side quests from the Adventure Seeker only becomes available after reaching level 60 and changing the difficulty to Hell I.
Talk to Ammar near the center of the Sanctified Earth Monastery to begin this Side Quest.

| 1 |  Follow the Shadow Defeat the Risen Monks and Demons that block your path as you follow the Shadow. |
| 2 |  Wait for Ammar's Summoning Watch the visions summoned by Ammar and talk to him afterwards to proceed. |
| 3 |  Continue Following the Shadow Clear out Spiders and Risen Monks as you make your way deeper into the monastery. |
| 4 |  Continue the Ritual Assist Ammar's communion and talk to Ammar afterwards to proceed. |
| 5 |  Defeat the Nightmares Talk to Ammar after defeating the Destructive Nightmare and its minions to end the quest. |
