Aspirant's Keys are used to unlock chests inside Iben Fahd's Sanctum in Diablo Immortal. Rewarding players with valuable upgrade materials called Culling Stones, these keys are a free-to-play method for upgrading your character's attributes. Read on to learn more about Aspirant's Keys, including how to farm, buy, and use them.

How to Get Aspirant's Keys |
---|
Iben Fahd's Sanctum will unlock after you acquire your first Vessel of the Horadrim. Once it does, you can run the Sanctum Depths daily to defeat enemies that drop Aspirant's Keys. Players can receive at least 4 keys everyday for free by doing this activity, guaranteeing at least 3 chest openings per day.
Note: Unlike Bounties that stack when you miss doing them daily, Iben Fahd's Sanctum is a strict daily reset. This means missing it for the day will not allow you to re-run it for additional keys on a different day.
If you join the Shadows, you'll have access to Daedessa's Blessing, a perk that rewards you with Blessed Chests containing Aspirant Keys for completing Elder Rifts. You can earn up to three chests a day (and at least 3 additional keys) this way. Daedessa's Blessing is only active when the Immortals have failed to complete Kion's Ordeal, so take advantage of this perk while it lasts.
Once you complete an Elder Rift with Daedessa's Blessing active, you'll have to manually open the Blessed Chest from the item menu to receive the Aspirant Key. In the character menu, click on the pouch icon, select the Blessed Chest, then select Use.
Rank | Key Rewards |
---|---|
Bronze | 5 Aspirant's Keys per Rank Up |
Silver | 6 Aspirant's Keys per Rank Up |
Gold | 7 Aspirant's Keys per Rank Up |
Legend | 10 Aspirant's Keys for reaching Legend |
Aspirant's Keys can also be obtained by participating and ranking up in Battlegrounds PvP. Each rank up will reward you with a number of keys to use, so make sure to climb those leaderboards and obtain your own surplus of Aspirant's Keys.
Aspirant's Keys may also appear in the First Kill of the Day reward track in Diablo Immortal. While the sets are random, Aspirant's Keys do make an appearance (usually on the 5th day), so make sure to check your current reward track if you need more keys.
If you've joined the Shadows, you'll be able to participate in the Assembly, an almost daily activity that can be completed effortlessly in a few minutes and will provide you with Aspirant's Keys, as well as other rewards.
How to Buy Aspirant's Keys |
---|
Aside from dailies and PvP activities, Aspirant's Keys can also be earned from the Empowered Battle Pass. Purchase the upgrade and start leveling it up to get Aspirant's Keys to use at the Sanctum.

Aside from the Battle Pass, another option would be to buy the limited, weekly, or monthly bundles in Diablo Immortal's in-app store. While not all of them contain Aspirant's Keys, the ones that do will give you a sizeable amount that you can use at the Sanctum.
If you're in a pinch and need another Aspirant Key, the Hilts Trader sells them for 50 Hilts a pop (up to 5 keys a day). Although it's generally not recommended to spend your Hilts on these, it can be useful if you just need one more to open a chest in the Aspirant's Grounds.

Aspirant's Keys are used to unlock Iben Fahd's Chests in the Aspirant's Grounds under Westmarch. These chests give players Beryl, Garnet, or Sapphire Culling Stones that are used to upgrade the Vessels of the Horadrim. These Vessels are part of the Legacy of the Horadrim mechanic, allowing you to receive permanent attribute buffs that help with endgame content.
In the very first reward chamber of Iben Fahd's Sanctum, players can spend up to 10 Keys which will reward them with a random assortment of 70 Culling Stones. Once all chests are open, a second one will become available. However, do note, this second chamber (and all succeeding ones) will have chests that require more keys to open.
What Is the Legacy of the Horadrim?
Aspirant's Keys are also needed to get the last Horadric Vessel - Iben Fahd's Tenacity - which grants bonuses to both Life and Damage. This is a random drop, and it can only be acquired by opening chests inside Iben Fahd's Sanctum.
Iben Fahd's Tenacity: Effects & Attribute Bonuses
Unlike most of the endgame stat upgrades that can only be acquired by paying real money, Aspirant's Keys, Culling Stones, and the Horadric Vessels they are tied to, are some of the most accessible to the free-to-play (F2P) playerbase.
By doing dailies and participating in Battlegrounds or Shadows content, F2P players will still be able to upgrade their character's stats for endgame alongside spending players, albeit in a much slower fashion.
