Grimoire Snap Effects Per Rank

(Lv. 5)		 Forcefully snap your grimoire shut, expelling a shockwave of Explosive Damage that knocks nearby enemies back and deals Stun.
Rank 2
(Lv. 8)		 Grimoire Snap deals increased Stun and can knock tougher enemies back.
Rank 3
(Lv. 10)		 Reduces the Essence cost by 30%.

The higher ranks of Grimoire Snap increase the power and efficacy but will remain locked until you reach the required level to unlock it.

Get a Grimoire to Cast it without it Unlocked

Get a Grimoire with the Grimoire Snap ability to cast it even if it's not yet unlocked from the Wizard Ability Tree. However, you will still need to unlock the required Grimoire Mastery Rank (if there's any) to cast the ability.

Also, if you unlock this ability and have a Grimoire, it will become stronger when cast.

How to Unlock Grimoire Snap

Reach Level 5 to Unlock

Level Up
You must reach Level 5 to unlock the base rank of Grimoire Snap in the Wizard Ability Tree. You can then spend Ability Points to activate and upgrade it once you reach the level requirement.

Unlock Level: Lv. 5

You must have Grimoire Mastery Rank 1 to unlock and use Grimoire Snap in battle. It means you must spend additional Ability Points on the Grimoire Mastery Ability.
