Toughness Effects Per Rank

Rank 1
(Lv. 1)		 Increases your Maximum Health by 20%.
Rank 2
(Lv. 5)		 Increases your Maximum Health by 35%.
Rank 3
(Lv. 8)		 Increases your Maximum Health by 45%.

The higher ranks of Toughness increase the power and efficacy but will remain locked until you reach the required level to unlock it.

How to Unlock Toughness

Unlocked at the Start

Since you start as Level 1 in the game, you can activate the Toughness ability at the start of the game. However, you will still need to spend an Ability Point to unlock its base rank.
