When Equipping Ring of Mercy, you, the player character, will receive the Mercy Hit passive skill, which will ensure that Pals will remain with at least 1 HP when receiving damage from you.

This is beneficial as it prevents accidentally defeating desired Pals that you intend to catch. Pair this Ring with the Ability Glasses for efficient Pal catching.

The effect of the Mercy Hit passive skill not only works against regular Pals but also works against Raid Bosses such as Bellanoir.

Do note that bosses cannot be capture during the boss fight, so make sure to unequip this item!
