One of the Palworld Developers posted a tweet showing the upcoming Base Management Update, wherein players can select which tasks their Pals will do within their base.

Based on the Interface Screen shown in the Tweet, the Quality of Life change will be applied to the Monitoring Stand structure, but it remains unclear if the other functions of the Monitoring Stand will remain, or if it will be removed.

Disable Unwanted Work Suitabilities

The main highlight of the new Base Management comes in the form of disabling unwanted Work Suitabilities, to make your Pals work more efficiently, and no longer get stuck doing tasks you don't want them to do.

This is especially helpful for Pals like Wumpo and Anubis who typically get stuck Lumbering or Mining instead of Transporting and Crafting!

When is the Next Palworld Update Coming?

Likely After Closed Testing Program

The next major Palworld Update will likely come after the Closed Testing Program period. This would give the developers ample time to make tweaks to the new features based on player feedback, as well as decide if the new features are ready for release.
