Build a Coal Mine

Level	Ancient Technology	Points	Description
53	Coal Mine	5	Facility for producing Coal. Digging Coal is grueling physical work. Leave it to a Pal that is good at mining.

Added in the Sakurajima update, you can now build a Coal Mine on your base! Once built, you can assign a Mining Pal to get coal from this facility, similar to the Logging Site and Stone Pit. However, you can only unlock it once you're at level 53 for 5 Ancient Technology Points.

Looted From Overworld

Coal can be looted from the Overworld. Be sure to farm as many of this material as you can to build structures and constructs to ensure your survival.

Set Up Coal Farming Bases

Similar to ores, you can setup a coal farming base once you get to a high enough base level. Bring some high-level Mining Pals with you once you have found a suitable location.

Deep Sand Dunes Location

Coordinates: (319, 498) Location: Can be found west of the Fast Travel Point called Deep Sand Dunes.

The farming spot above has the 8 Coal nodes and some Stones in the mini-forest nearby. For sure, this is the best spot to farm Coal if you can access it already!

Sealed Realm of the Swift Location

Coordinates: (189, -39) Location: Can be found south of the Fast Travel Point called the Sealed Realm of the Swift.

The Coal mining spot above contains 6 Coal nodes and a bunch of Ores you can mine as well!

Sealed Realm of the Guardian Location

Coordinates: (288, -21) Location: Can be found west of the Fast Travel Point called the Sealed Realm of the Guardian.

The Coal mining spot above contains 6 Coal nodes and a bunch of Ores and Stones you can mine as well!

Winged Tyrant Location

Coordinates: (-96, -120) Location: Can be found north east of the Fast Travel Point called the Sealed Realm of the Winged Tyrant.

Like the other two locations mentioned above, this farming spot also has 6 Coal nodes but it is located in a desert biome.

Anubis Location

Coordinates: (-125, -84) Location: Can be found beside the Alpha Boss, Anubis.

This Coal farming spot is near Location 4 and has 6 Coal nodes as well. You can go straight to this spot after farming the previous location.
