Special Flower Gumoss Location

Coastal Area South of Windswept Hills

Overworld Location Map Location

Our team caught the Special Flower Gumoss in the southern coastal area of Windswept Hills. The closest fast travel points to this location are the Plateau of Blessings or Small Settlement locations.

The spawn points are yet to be confirmed. Still, it can be assumed that the Special Flower Gumoss can spawn in any typical Gumoss habitat, though quite rarely.

Catching the Special Flower Gumoss

Gumoss usually spawns in low-level areas. Be careful not to use a hard-hitting weapon or have your Pal set to be aggressive. Use a higher-tier Pal Sphere or a Stun Baton to capture the rare Flower Gumoss safely.

List of Weapons and How to Craft

Special Flower Gumoss Appearance

The Special Flower Gumoss should not be hard to miss as they have a bright red Beautiful Flower on top of their head. There are no other visual, stat, or skill differences between the regular and flower variants of Gumoss.

Gumoss Location

Gumoss Lv. 11 Alpha Boss Location

Gumoss is available as a level 11 Field Alpha Boss south of the Sea Breeze Archipelago Church fast travel point and north of the Sea Breeze Archipelago Reef fast travel point.

Hatch from Verdant Egg

Palworld - Htaching Eggs
Gumoss can be hatched from a Verdant Egg.

Pal eggs can be found spread across the islands as interactable objects that can be picked up.

They can also be obtained through breeding Pals together in a Breeding Farm. Once you have an egg, place it in an Egg Incubator and wait for it to hatch.

Hidden IV Stat Values for Pals

IVs are hidden stats each Pal has for each stat that randomizes their HP, Atk, and Def to a specific range. Having 0 IV for a stat means the Pal gets a 0% bonus, while having the maximum 100 IV gives a 30% bonus to the respective stat.

For example, if two Lamballs have the same passives and buffs, the Lamball with the higher HP IV will always have a higher HP pool.

A Pal's IVs cannot be altered but can be used to influence its child's IVs through breeding. Therefore, breeding is an excellent option to pass a parent's high IV and favorable Passive Skills to obtain a Pal with the highest IVs possible with the preferred Passive Skills.

I have caught multiple Special Flower Gumoss across the map, so they do seem to be able to spawn at any normal Gumoss spawn but VERY rarely I've only caught 2 on a max spawn rate world, so they seem to be rarer than a lucky Gumoss as i caught more luckies then I did Special Flowers
