Stuck in a Rut

This side quest is likely the most important one, as it unlocks fast travel back to the Grasslands Region. It's important to finish this quest if you have any unfinished business in the Grasslands.

While you can still obtain the Junon Chocobo by doing the Chocobo Intel near Gabe's Ranch even before starting this quest, doing the Stuck in a Rut side quest is a good way to hit two birds, so to speak, with one stone.

When Words Won't Do

Completing the When Words Won't Do side quest opens up access to a whole new area called the Crow's Nest and unlocks the Dreaming of Blue Skies side quest, which increases your relationship with Tifa.

Explore the area to gain access to one of the Phoenix Sanctuaries as well as your first try at the Piano Minigame after you meet the character named Dorian.

While you can purchase your own Corel Chocobo in the Corel Region for 300 Gil, completing the Rendezvous in Costa del Sol side quest first rewards you with a free Rent-a-Bird Membership, and your own Chocobo without having to spend a single Gil.
