What are Ports?

Allows You to Travel Across Regions

Ports are a fast travel feature that allows you to travel from one region to another. You can unlock them as you progress through the game, with the exception of the Chocobo Carriages as it is the only one locked behind a side quest.

How to Fast Travel Between Regions

Inaugural Airport Trip Will Cost 1000 Gil

To unlock the airport services, you must pay 1000 Gil first. Since this is also tied to the main story, paying this fee is mandatory. On the flip side, once you've paid the initial fee, all subsequent flights will only cost you 300 Gil.

Gil Farming Guide

Seaports Replace Airports after Chapter 11

Airports will no longer be functional by the end of Chapter 11. However, starting from Chapter 12, you'll be able to unlock seaports, allowing you to freely fast travel across regions directly from the map.
