Cast Haste to Speed Up ATB Gauge

Equip the Time materia and cast Haste to party members so that they can build up their ATB Gauge quickly. This is essential so that Aerith can cast Blizzard spells quickly and Cloud can capitalize on Ogre Raider's pressured state with Focused Thrust.

Inflicting enough damage and exploiting its elemental weakness will pressure it. As the battle progresses, it will grow incensed. Its power intensifies with each roar it emits, reaching its apex after the third.

Encountered When Looking for Pirate King's Treasure in Gongaga

Ogre Raider is one of the enemies guarding a Pirate Relic in the southeast of Gongaga Harbor. Make sure to go to Costa del Sol, where the Tiny Bronco is docked. Open the chest that has purple crossed swords. A treasure map will show you the locations of the four Pirate Grottoes where Ogre Raider resides in one of them.
