    not only can we not carry over our data we worked hard for in hopes we could, but now the dumbasses in charge of storytelling is doing an asinine job at it by playing the "multiverse" card and quite frankly HOW is the power explained? it never gets explained its a literal shit pull straight from thier asses. idc if advent children became canon, it was relevant or pertinent to the original game so it should STAY THE HELL OUT OF the remake.

    Honestly its pretty dumb to make the titles "standalone." Its BS that save data, items, materia don't carry over. This concept is ridiculous.
