How to Get Od Caura’s Grimoire
Pick Up from Ruins in Pargrun Cache
Od Caura's Grimoire is located at Pargrun Cache in the Emerald Stair region, in the Wildwoods.
To reach Pargrun Cache head west from the Ranger Outpost.
Enter the Ruins in Pargrun Cache

| 1 |  Jump into the ruins and enter through the opening on the right side, then run down the stairs. |
| 2 |  Once you're downstairs, turn right, and you'll see a locked door with a mechanism beside it. Cast a lightning spell to open the door. |
| 3 |  Go straight ahead. Once you reach the locked door, turn left. Note that enemies will spawn here. |
| 4 |  You'll see a room with an opening on the right side. Cast a lightning spell through the opening to unlock the door. |
| 5 |  Od Caura's Grimoire should be inside the chest. |

Cost: 75 Essence Cooldown: 20 seconds The caster is surrounded by a protective flame that increases Damage Reduction by 50% and deals Fire Accumulation to enemy melee attackers. Requires Grimoire Mastery Rank 2 |
 Returning Storm
|
Cost: 75 Essence Cooldown: 20 seconds Conjures a powerful thunderstorm that strikes the earth with lightning bolts, dealing Stun and Shock Accumulation to nearby enemies. Requires Grimoire Mastery Rank 2 |
 Pull of Eora
|
Cost: 70 Essence Cooldown: 20 seconds Cast upon a location to pierce the Beyond, pulling 2 nearby enemies and suspending them in the vortex. Requires Grimoire Mastery Rank 3 |
Equip Grimoires in the off-hand slot to gain access to its innate abilities. Spells unlocked within the Wizard tree increase in potency when used via a Grimoire.
Note that some spells require the Grimoire Mastery passive at a certain rank to use.

Weapons can be upgraded in the Workbench, requiring Metal or Wood and Herbs of equal rarity to do so. Upgrading Weapons increases its stats, raising its effectiveness in combat.

| Od Caura was supposedly a lesser-known Engwithan aristocrat who became one of the pre-eminent wizards of their time. Pitied by their family and countrymen for the physical deformities that wracked their body, they turned their attention towards unlocking the secrets of the arcane. By the end of their life, their sizable inheritance had dwindled to nothing as they spent it on increasingly-exotic materials and components. For their final act, they conjured a terrifying vortex of thunder, lightning, and raw arcane energy, claiming it was a portal to a better place. No body was recovered, and to this day it is uncertain if their efforts to rip open a gateway to another world worked and they were whisked away somewhere else, or if their body simply disintegrated from the unchecked power of their final spell. How much of this ancient history is accurate and how much is pure embellishment is impossible to discern, the details lost to time like so much else surrounding the enigmatic Engwithans. The fact that this bedraggled grimoire has survived so long is a miracle in its own right. |
