Craft Relay Towers and Electric Pylons

Construct Relay Towers and Electric Pylons

To start, go to the PAC and construct some Relay Towers and Electric Pylons. These should be easy enough to do, provided that you've rigged Originium ore veins in several areas.

Be sure to stock up on them as much as you can. If you haven't already, research Pylon Relaying in the Basic AIC Plan II. That way, even Electric Pylons can start transmissions.

Manually Set Up Towers All the Way to Aburrey Quarry

Manually Set Up Towers

Make your way to Aburrey Quarry on foot while setting up Relay Towers and Electric Pylons on the side of the road.

Pay attention to the maximum distance of transmissions. Relay Towers have a maximum of 80 meters, while Pylons only go for 30 meters.

Connect to Facilities

Connect to Facilities

Once you've set up a Relay Tower in Aburrey Quarry, you're going to have to keep setting up towers and pylons to facilities in order to power them.

One instance is the Staff Lounge on the east side of the map.

Why Power Up Aburrey Quarry?

Activate Facilities

The main point of powering up an area is to be able to activate and enable its different facilities such as Electric Nexus units that supply power to things like gates and elevators.

Do note that some areas may have their own Sub-PACs that can supply power to Relay Towers without having to go back to the main PAC in the Hub, like the Valley Pass area.

However, areas like Aburrey Quarry don't have their own Sub-PAC, which means that Endministrators must manually wire relay towers to them.
