Arknights: Endfield is F2P friendly due to several factors that make pulling on the Gacha less straining on resources. See what makes Endfield F2P friendly in this guide!
Arknights Endfield is F2P friendly for many reasons, such as Operator weapons and the Battle Pass being more accessible. There is also a chance that players can get their desired Operators even if their featured Rate-Up banner ends, albeit for a limited time.
While Endfield’s gacha system can feel intimidating at first, it ultimately rewards players who manage their pull resources wisely.

| Character Rate | Arsenal Ticket Reward |
|---|---|
| 6-Star | 2,000 Tickets |
| 5-Star | 200 Tickets |
| 4-Star | 20 Tickets |
Arsenal Tickets can be used to directly buy a character's weapon from the Arsenal Exchange shop, or they can be used as pulls from the Weapon Banners.
Players can get Arsenal Tickets whenever they pull characters from the Headhunting banners. Thanks to this, players can save their pulls on Operator banners while eventually getting Arsenal Tickets for the weapon they want.
Do take note that the weapons in the Arsenal Exchange shop have a weekly and daily rotation, which means the featured weapon changes after a set period of time.

Once a player loses their 50/50 in the Rate-Up banner, they can pull Operators from a separate off-banner pool. This off-banner pool contains Operators that were featured on previous Rate-Up banners. This is because when a Rate-Up banner ends, its featured Operator is added to this pool instead of not being available in any banners.
Each Operator stays in the off-banner pool for two subsequent Rate-Up banners. After this period, the Operator is removed from all banners completely.
With the special ruling of Endfield's banners, players are easily rewarded, especially if the characters they like are featured back-to-back. This is because the Operator that was featured in the previous banner can now be obtained in the present Rate-Up banner due to the 50/50 rule.

Except for the Endministrator, obtaining multiple copies of an Operator increases their stats and improves their performance on the field. However, these upgrades are optional, and players can still fully enjoy Arknights: Endfield with just a single copy of an Operator they like.

A permanent banner called New Horizons will be available to all players starting out in Arknights Endfield. By progressing through the story, players will be rewarded with up to 5 HH-10x Permits, which will let them pull from what is essentially the game's banner for beginners.
By the 40th pull, you will be guaranteed to receive the standard 6★ Operators: Ember, Lifeng, Ardelia, Last Rite and Pogranichnik. Afterwards, you can also claim a standard 6★Weapon after doing all 40 rolls!

Arknights: Endfield's Battle Pass, called the Protocol Pass, has multiple reward tiers, but the lowest tier can be purchased repeatedly, even by free-to-play players. This tier costs Origeometry, and completing the pass refunds the full amount plus a small bonus, allowing players to keep buying it as long as they finish it!
