Rossi is a sub-DPS that bridges Arts and Physical damage, able to convert Arts Inflictions into Physical Statuses and increase the Physical and Heat DMG taken by enemies. Weapons that can boost crit rate can significantly boost Rossi's damage potential due to the crit damage bonuses available in her Combo Skill and Ultimate.

Lupine Scarlet is her best weapon, as it increases her Heat and Physical damage on top of the crit rate buff it provides. Glorious Memory from the battle pass is a strong alternative as well, able to boost her crit rate and her primary source of damage: her Ultimate.

If players have neither weapons, they may opt for Sundering Steel or Wave Tide as lower rarity options instead. Note that these weapons do not provide crit rate, creating a significantly larger gap in damage in comparison to her higher rarity options.

How to Play Rossi

As a Controlled Operator

Rossi is a 6-star Physical guard who can apply Vulnerability and deal single-target DMG. Rossi can also deal both Arts DMG and Physical DMG, and can convert Arts Infliction into Vulnerable.

You get the most damage by using her talents this way:

  1. Use Battle Skill on an Enemy with Vulnerable
  2. Convert Infliction to Vulnerable with Combo Skill
  3. Use Ultimate to Apply Heat Infliction

Use Battle Skill on an Enemy with Vulnerable

Only use Battle Skill on an enemy with an active Vulnerable stack to apply the Razor Clawmark status. This status deals Physical DMG per second while increasing the enemy's Physical and Heat DMG taken.

Convert Infliction to Vulnerable with Combo Skill

Rossi's Combo Skill triggers when an enemy has an active Vulnerable and Arts Infliction stack. This skill converts all Arts Inflictions for a stack of Vulnerable while buffing Rossi's Critical Rate and Critical Damage.

Moreover, Rossi's Combo Skill has a second QTE that adds an additional stack of Vulnerable. Her Combo Skill, coupled with her Battle Skill, allows Rossi to apply up to 3 Vulnerable stacks in her kit, able to expedite Crush or Breach triggers on the enemy.

Use Ultimate to Apply Heat Infliction

Rossi's Ultimate deals Heat DMG and applies Heat Infliction. This can be used to supplement her Combo Skill's requirement to lessen her reliance on the team's Arts Infliction, allowing her rotations to save some SP.
