The Guard class in Arknights: Endfield includes Operators that excel in close combat, performing either heavy or quick physical damage based on their style and weapon.
They can inflict physical status effects like Vulnerable and Stagger to enemies and even have crowd control abilities.
Defenders in Arknights: Endfield are, as their name implies, defense-oriented Operators who excel at counterattacking and protecting themselves and their allies.
Endfield's Casters are Arts specialists, and can deal with enemies that have high Defense but no Resistance. They are capable of applying Arts Reaction and infilicting Arts onto enemies.
The Supporter role in Arknights: Endfield focuses on providing utility and sustain through a mix of buffs to allies, debuffs on enemies, and even crowd-control.
Supporter Operators can massively improve the damage and survivability of their team members.
In Endfield, Strikers are Operators that revolve around unique effects or mechanics, and can require some set-up from their team to truly shine. They focus on applying effects to enemies to deal maximum damage, and they take advantage of Physical or Arts statuses on their opponents.
The Vanguards specialize in recovering skill points (SP) for their teammates, which is important especially if your team relies on using skills frequently.
