Umbral Monument Stage 2 Mechanics

Normal Enemies cannot move, but they are harder to interrupt and continuously gain ATK.
Agony The enemy's ATK increases at a much faster rate. Tacticals and consumables cannot be used.

Agony Mode adds an effect on top of the Normal mode mechanics.

Laevatain works great for this Umbral Monument stage thanks to her AoE Capabilities. Because the enemies in this stage cannot move, Laevatain can easily deal damage to all of them with her kit, especially when her Ultimate is active.

Wulfgard and Akekuri will help Laevatain acquire her Melting Flame stacks, and Akekuri will also help the team recover Skill Points. Finally, Ardelia will serve as the team's healer and debuffer, capable of applying both Physical and Arts Susceptibility to enemies.

Avywenna is another good Main DPS for this stage thanks to her Battle Skill, which pulls any Thunderlance and Thunderlance EX towards her, piercing all enemies in their path and dealing a huge burst of damage.

Perlica will apply the Electric Infliction needed to trigger Avywenna's Combo Skill, while Gilberta's Combat Skill will pull the enemies together, making it easier for Avywenna's Thunderlances to hit them. Lastly, Ardelia will provide healing to the team and apply both Physical and Arts Susceptibility on enemies.

Additionally, Avywenna's Battle Skill, pulling her Thunderlances, combined with Gilberta's pull, deals high Stagger to enemies. This enables multiple Finishers during the fight, acting as the source of SP for the team.

For the F2P team, you will be using a Physical-focused team with the Endministrator as the main DPS, thanks to his AoE Battle Skill and Ultimate. When combined with his Combo Skill, his Ultimate can easily burst down even the toughest of enemies.

Chen Qianyu will be the team's Sub-DPS, dealing bursts of damage with her Combo Skill and Ultimate. Akekuri will help the team recover Skill Points, as this team relies on Battle Skills. Finally, Ardelia will be the team's source of healing, as well as a debuffer to help take enemies down faster.

Da Pan can replace the Endministrator as the Main DPS thanks to his powerful attacks, as well as his Ultimate that can Lift the immobile enemies.
Endfield Lifeng Lifeng Role: Sub DPS
Lifeng's Ultimate allows him to pull enemies together, making it easier to deal damage to all of them with your attacks. He can take Ardelia's place in a Physical-focused team, but this can make clearing the stage harder due to the lack of sustain in the team.

How to Beat Unorthodox Tactics Stage 2

  1. Use Operators with AoE Attacks
  2. Group Enemies Together
  3. Damage Mitigation Is A Must

Use Operators with AoE Attacks

The enemies in this stage cannot move, and are standing in close proximity to each other. As such, using AoE Attacks is ideal, allowing you to deal damage to all enemies at the same time.

Operators that excell in this include Laevatain and Avywenna.

Group Enemies Together

Some abilities, like Gilberta's Combat Skill and Lifeng's Ultimate, can be used to group enemies together. Doing so will make it easier to deal damage to every enemy, especially when using AoE attacks.

Damage Mitigation Is A Must

The longer an enemy is alive in this stage, the more ATK buffs they get. While this may not be a problem with the earlier enemies, this ATK increase can quickly ramp up with the later enemies, especially the Tunneling Nidwyrm, thanks to their toughness.

As such, bringing Operators with damage mitigation is a must, be it in the form of shields or healing. Ardelia is a great option for healing as she can also apply Physical and Arts Susceptibility on enemies, making them easier to kill.
