Each weapon has various stats and skills that can further strengthen the power of your Operators when equipped appropriately. Typically, they will provide direct boosts to certain Attributes of your characters or even trigger skills that grant various effects.
As a weapon levels up, its stats can also increase significantly. You should also consider which characters have kits that can make the most out of a weapon's effects before equipping them.
Best Weapon for Each Character

| Weapon Level | The weapon's overall level. You can raise this with Weapon EXP Materials to boost the weapon's Base ATK. You can raise a weapon's level cap via Tuning to help it reach even higher levels. |
| Base ATK | Adds a flat increase to the Operator's ATK. |
| Weapon Skill | A special ability granted by the weapon. These offer either attribute increases, damage bonuses, or potent, but conditional buffs. A skill's level can be increased by raising the Potential Level of the weapon, or by slotting it with the proper Essence. |
| Potential Level | Increases the effects of the Weapon Skill with each Potential Level. This can be raised up to 5 times by feeding copies of the weapon to it. |

To level up your weapon, look for the Level Up button underneath the weapon's name in the overview screen. Then, you can submit Weapon EXP materials like Arms Inspectors or Arms INSP Kits to raise its EXP and level it up. You can even use other weapons to grant it more EXP!
Once the weapon hits a level cap, you can use Tuning Materials to further increase the level cap up to a maximum of Lv. 90. Take note that as a weapon reaches higher levels, the more EXP it will need to level up!

You can raise a weapon's Potential by feeding a duplicate copy of the weapon to it. Take note that you must do this via the Potential screen, and not the Level Up screen. Otherwise, you'll end up using the weapon copy as EXP fodder instead!
In the weapon overview, look for the Potential button above the Base ATK to open the correct screen. You can raise a weapon's Potential up to 5 times, which will allow you to level up your Weapon Skill up to 5 times as well!

Another way to strengthen your weapons is to equip matching Essences to them! An Essence is a type of gear that drops randomly from defeating enemies and carries randomized Attribute boosts. Certain Essences can even boost specific Weapon Skills!
Look for the Essence button next to the Potential button to select an Essence to equip onto the weapon. Ideally, you'll want to equip Essences that have boosts that correspond to the Attributes or Skill on the weapon.

Weapons also have unique effects, each with its own distinct trigger. This can make a specific weapon more valuable in terms of versatility, meaning more characters can use and benefit from that weapon in their build. Check out all the weapons and our rankings for them in our tier list below.
There are several ways to get weapons in Arknights: Endfield, with certain weapons even being free to obtain and use.

Your main source of weapons in Arknights: Endfield will be the Arsenal Exchange. Here, you can pull for various weapons in the Limited and Permanent Weapon Banners, also known as Arsenal Issues.
You need to have 2,480 Arsenal Tickets to make a pull from an Arsenal Issue. This pull gives you 10 random weapons, and you can't pull for just 1 weapon. Arsenal Tickets can be obtained by pulling for Characters via Headhunting or exchanging Oroberyls for them!

You can also purchase weapons directly using your Arsenal Tickets. There are rotating weapon inventories in the Arsenal Exchange, allowing you to purchase different weapons on different days. Some weapons are also permanently available, but they'll only have 1 stock available!
Targeted Weapon Supply crates are consumables that offer a selection of weapons that you can choose from. After choosing a weapon, you'll directly claim it from the crate! You can get these crates as a weekly reward from the Algorithmic Memories game mode.
Certain weapons can simply be found while exploring the world of Arknights: Endfield and opening chests!

If you have max potential Operators, you can exchange their tokens for Endpoint Quota tokens that you can use to purchase weapons directly!
