Mineral Purity in Arknights: Endfield refers to the quality of the ore being mined in mineral veins and can only be increased. Learn what Purity is, how it affects your mining, when it appears and how to increase it here!

How to Increase Mineral Purity
Upgrade Your Regional Development Level
You can increase your Mineral Purity by upgrading your Regional Development Level. This level affects what areas in Talos-II will have improved mineral purity when mining, so make sure to do the necessary actions to raise this level and get better mineral quantities!
Regional Development is Affected by Actions Done

Press your Regional Management Development (RDM) button or go to the Protosync Menu on the top right to access and find your Development Level.
Remember, the higher your RDM level, the better the mineral purity in more areas in Talos-II so focus on this if you want higher purity ores!
How to View and Check Mineral Purity
Can be Checked Via Electric Mining Rigs
Check your Electric Mining Rig by approaching and interacting with it to see the mineral purity of your current mineral bed. High-purity mineral veins will indicate themselves with a Gathering Efficieny Improved text.
Collection Rate Can Be Observed On the Mining Rig Screen

Originium Ore
Amethyst OreYou can observe the difference of the Mining Rate by going to the Mining Rig screen and looking at the production time above the current auto-production formula to see the rate of the ores beiing extracted and collected.
You can collect at least 10 Ores per minute on a low purity mineral bed while you can get around 20 ores per minute in a high purity mineral bed.
Searchable Through the Map with Mineral Beds
Mineral Beds themselves can be searched on the map and each of their individual veins can be checked, although most if not all mineral beds will have a uniform status of low purity or high purity.
What is Mineral Purity?
Dictates Ore Mining and Collection Rate in Mineral Rig Spots
Mineral Purity affects how many materials you can collect from a single mining vein in a mineral bed, with low-purity minerals producing less mineral ores and high-purity materials producing more mineral ores.
This mechanic is mostly relevant only with Mining Rigs deployed to these mineral beds, as they will dictate the rate of how fast your miners will get the materials you need!
Does Not Affect Manual Mining
Mineral Purity is mostly a non-factor when you mine the crystals around the mineral beds manually, and we recommend smacking these crystals around the mineral rigs to speed up your collection objectives.
