Level Up Your Characters and Weapons

How to Level Up
1 Level up your characters and weapons

3 Farm materials to raise the level cap
4 Level up your characters and weapons
5 Repeat

Prioritize leveling up your characters and their weapons to have a smooth experience in completing the main story. Characters and weapons both have a level cap of Lv. 20, but this can be further upgraded the more you progress through the story.

This means that as soon as the level cap is raised, farm the necessary materials to keep leveling up your characters and weapons.

Be sure to check all the missions you can accomplish in the Operational Manual once it's unlocked. It's best to complete these missions as fast as you can, as they reward Oroberyl, T-Creds, Operational EXP, and more!

Use Sanity Points on Protocol Space

Use of Sanity Points on Protocol Space

Head to Protocol Spaces to farm character and weapon materials on top of Operational EXP. Note that character and weapon materials are necessary in order to defeat strong enemies in the world.

There are multiple Protocol Spaces across Talos-II. Once you've interacted with them, they will be automatically unlocked and can be accessed through the Index menu of the Operational Manual.

Build Gear and Gear Sets

Build Gear and Gear Sets

If enemies are becoming more difficult to defeat, it's best to start building and investing in Gear and Gear Sets. Equipping the right Gear increases your character's stats such as Defense, Crit Rate, Agility, Intellect, and more.

Note that activating Gear Sets will further buff your character through various effects!

Build Efficient Factory Lines

Once the Factory System is unlocked, it's best to start building Automated Production Lines that efficiently produce necessary materials such as Gears and items necessary for HP recovery and exploration.

Note that the Factory System is unlocked by simply progressing the story.

Building AIC Production Lines can be intimidating for some, but worry not! You can use the game's or even other player's blueprints to aid you instead.

Collect the Aurylenes and Protocol Dataloggers scattered throughout Talos-II. Collecting Aurylenes increases your stamina bar, while the Protocol Datalogger increases the AIC Facilities you can build!

Submit Aurylenes to TP Points

Submit Aurylenes to TP Points

Teleport to any TP Point, The Hub, and select Submit Aurylene. Doing so may reward you with an additional stamina bar, Origeometry, and Operational EXP.

Protocol Dataloggers Give AIC Index

Protocol Dataloggers Give AIC Index

Interacting with the Protocol Dataloggers gives you the AIC Index, which is needed to research new factory plans in the AIC Plan menu. The AIC Plan menu allows you to upgrade most, if not all, of the AIC Facilities!
