Chen Qianyu is a great Vulnerability applicator for Physical teams, as she can trigger Lift multiple times with her Battle and Combo skills, allowing for other Operators to consume them at maximize Vulnerability DMG.
She is also a free unit, offering excellent overworld utility by improving base functions. Chen Qianyu is mainly intended to be a sub-DPS, dealing average damage and requiring other allies to consume her generated Vulnerability stacks.

Swordmancer is Chen Qianyu's best option in the endgame due to its high synergy with her as a character. The gear pieces themselves increase Chen Qianyu's Agility and Strength attributes, while also buffing her Physical DMG quite a bit.
Meanwhile, the set itself deals an additional Physical DMG attack against enemies while also causing enemies to be Staggered a lot more frequently with the Efficiency Bonus it provides.

Early Game Gears for Levels 20 to 30. Standard-to-Change.
In the early game, the Roving MSGR set is Chen Qianyu's best option due to her primarily scaling off Agility and Physical DMG. Use this after reaching around level 20 to progress through the game a lot more smoothly.
How to Play Chen Qianyu
As a Support Damage Dealer
Chen Qianyu's main value in the team is to apply Vulnerability stacks, as both her Battle and Combo Skills cause enemies to be Lifted. As such, Chen Qianyu is best used as a sub-DPS in the team and is built as a Damage Dealer regardless if she's the Controlled Operator or not.
You get the most damage by using her talents in this order:
- Lift Enemies and Apply Vulnerability with Battle Skill
- Follow Up Vulnerability with Combo Skill
- Use Ultimate to Burst Enemies Down
- Interrupt Enemies with Skills for Faster Stagger
Lift Enemies and Apply Vulnerability with Battle Skill
Chen Qianyu's Battle Skill is straightforward to use. Once you cast it, it will deal Physical DMG and cause enemies to be Lifted. In certain situations, using three casts of Chen Qianyu's Battle Skill alongside her Combo Skill will maximize Vulnerability stacks on enemies!
Follow Up Vulnerability with Combo Skill
Whenever an enemy becomes Vulnerable, Chen Qianyu can make a follow-up attack using her Combo Skill. This attack simply deals Physical DMG and Lifts enemies. Do take note that this has a cooldown of 16 seconds, so you can't spam it.
Use Ultimate to Burst Enemies Down
Chen Qianyu's Ultimate is a simple AoE burst skill that deals a lot of damage while also having a low cost. Make sure to use it when enemies are Staggered to deal as much damage as possible. Additionally, you can buff this by getting Ultimate DMG Bonus or Ultimate Gain Efficiency to cast this as much as possible.
Interrupt Enemies with Skills for Faster Stagger
If enemies are charging up their attacks, appearing as a red ring around them, you can press any of Chen Qianyu's active skills to interrupt them. This will cause a lot more Stagger than other Operators, so try to use Chen Qianyu's skill for these instances when possible!
As a Base Operator
Aside from Chen Qianyu's combat ability, she also works great being set as a Base Operator with her extra perks in the Manufacturing Cabin and Growth Chambers.
Assign to Manufacturing Cabin for Weapon EXP Materials
You can have Chen Qianyu in the Manufacturing Cabin to get more weapon EXP materials. Just make sure to have Chen Qianyu's Base Skill, Blade Critique, unlocked first.
Assign to Growth Chamber for Rare Minerals
Once you unlock the Jadeworking Base Skill on Chen Qianyu, place her as the Base Operator for the Growth Chamber to improve Rare Mineral growth!

| 4 | Battle Skill | While her Battle Skill offers great application of Lift and Staggers enemies, it cannot be spammed due to the team having a shared SP Cost. As such, you'll want to upgrade this later on, prioritizing her more consistent damaging abilities first. |
