How to Establish an Outpost
Complete Missions and Deploy a Sub-PAC
An Outpost can be established by completing missions in different outpost locations in the map. These Outpost missions will only appear after certain level pre-requisites have been achieved, so make sure to progress!
Deploy the Outpost's Sub-PAC
Sub-PAC deployed in Outposts can be used as TP Points for fast travel, in addition to supplying power in its vicinity. This creates a new Core AIC Area that allows you to build new factories on.
This Sub-PAC will serve as the production center in that area, and you can use it to expand your automation (AIC) capabilities, producing more resources and items.
How to Level Up Outpost Prosperity
Fulfill Trade Requests With Outposts
You must conduct trades with outposts in order to level up its Outpost Prosperity, as this will also snowball into you earning Stock Bills. Make sure to have the necessary supplies that the Outpost needs to be able to trade back.
These Stock Bills will be used in Stock Redistribution, where you can purchase items that will also be reliant on Stock Bills, featuring mechanics similar to a stock market.
Outpost Level-Up Perks

- Expand Core AIC Area of the Outpost
- Unlock Higher Area Status
- Change Outpost Appearance
- Increase Stock Bill Savings
Leveling up the Outpost grants various perks such as increased Outpost rewards and expanded AIC Zones, creating space for more facilities and production chains within the vicinity.
In addition, the civilization within the Outpost receives an upgrade as well. This changes the appearance of the Outpost, appearing more prosperous with the addition of buildings and various structures within the area.
Assign Operator Liaison

| SAR Response | Faction | For every 1 point of Outpost Prosperity earned via trading, there is a 20% chance to earn 1 more. |
| Turn Scrap to Treasure | Hobbies | For every 1 stock bill earned via trading, there is a 20% chance to earn 1 more. |
| Survival Knowledge | Expertise | For every 1 stock bill earned by the outpost, there is a 20% chance to earn 1 more. |
Operators can be set as an Outpost's Liaison, and will provide three main benefits motivated by the characters Faction, Hobbies and Expertise.
Make sure to look at the operator's qualities and find the proper traits that will trigger the boost! Some characters such as Antal can trigger more than one type of boost.
How to Trade With Outposts
Check Resources Requested by the Outpost
Make sure to check the resources that you can transfer first to confirm that you can trade with the outpost you're interacting with. Use the Check function on the resource portrait to make sure you have the appropriate materials.
Select How Many Items to Trade
Use the counting slider to choose how many items you want to trade. This will be entirely reliant on your personal preference, so you can trade all of your supplies or balance it out so you're not zeroed out on materials.
Trade, Profit and Repeat
Once sure, hit the Trade button and profit from the transaction. You will get Prosperity EXP for you Outpost, as well as Stock Bills for the trade, at the cost of your materials.
What is Outpost Area Defense?
Random Territory Attacks Requiring Combat AICs
Outposts can be randomly engaged by enemies, requiring you to defend them using Combat AICs to ensure their integrity. Players must strategically place these defense turrets around outposts should an attack happen.

How to Get Outpost Area Defense
Unlocked After Leveling Refugee Camp to Level 2
Your first Outpost, the Refugee Camp must be Level 2 in order to have the Area Defense mechanics. Increase your Outpost Prosperity to get the feature as soon as possible!
Finish OD Project Refugee Camp I Quest
Aside from leveling your Outpost, you must finish the OD Project Refugee Camp I quest in order to unlock the feature. Completing this with a Level 2 Outpost will allow the mechanic to start.
You Can Temporary Delay Leveling to Prepare
You can temporarily delay progression with your Outpost to avoid any regional attacks, should you wish to not have the outpost defense mechanic just yet and do some more expansion in the early game.
Do note that you'll have to level-up eventually to reach other areas in the game, so upgrading your Outpost cannot be delayed for long.
What is Outpost Management?
Monitors All Outpost Progression Activities
Outpost Management is a part of the Regional Development Management System that monitors your progression with the game's Outposts.
You can exchange resources for regional Stock Bills that via product trades while also sending your operators to support these outposts.
