For the late-game section of Valley IV, you will encounter the Sandleaf, which, when processed into Sandleaf Powder, is the most important item at this point in the game.
This is because everything you will be crafting in the late-game will use Sandleaf Powder. As such, securing a consistent supply of Sandleaf Powder is a must.

You can first find Sandleaf in the Plateau Trunkway, located in the Power Plateau. You will gain access to this location upon reaching Authority Level 34 and starting the quest Entering the Endgame.

Once you have secured Sandleaf Powder production, prioritize crafting Cryston Components, Buck Capsule A, and SC Valley Batteries.
Cryston Components are used to craft Level 50 Purple Rarity Gear, while the SC Valley Battery is a direct upgrade of the LC Valley Battery when used in Thermal Banks. Finally, the Buck Capsule A is an even stronger healing item, and is used as an Outpost trade good alongside the SC Valley Battery.
Because of the complexity of the recipes (up to five steps with numerous input and output streams), we highly recommend splitting the production into smaller parts. This makes it easier to manage, and allows you to build the production line over numerous AICs, which can help if you need space.
Splitting the production line requires extensive use of Protocol Stashes and the Depot Buses, so make sure that you have them unlocked.
The mid-game spans from the end of the early game at around Authority Level 18 until you are able to grind Cryston at Authority Level 34. Be sure to evolve together with your factory to get stronger items and gear!

When producing Sandleaf Powder, remember to use all three output ports in the Shredder Unit to avoid clogging it up. You can then feed all three outputs into a Protocol Stash to send it back to your Depot.
The Automation-Core in particular is perfect for Sandleaf Powder production, as you can have up to nine output streams using a relatively small space. This also frees up your Depot Buses, allowing you to use them for other production lines.

Due to the large amount of Sandleaf you will need (hundreds per minute), we highly recommend using an Infinite Loop Farm to get the Sandleaf you need.
The layout shown above, for example, is very compact, and does not need an input from your PAC or from a Depot. Because of this, you can build it in a corner of your AIC, freeing up space for other production lines.
| Cryston Component Production Line |

![]() The first ingredient you need when making Cryston Components are Packed Origocrust. You can make this by refining Originium Ore into Orgocrust, then shredding it into Origocrust Powder. This is then ground with Sandleaf Powder to make Packed Origocrust. |
![]() The second ingredient you need when making Cryston Components are Cryston Fiber. You can make this by refining Amethyst Ore into Amethyst Fiber, then shredding it into Amethyst Powder. This is then ground with Sandleaf Powder to make Cryston Fiber. |
![]() The final step is to combine Packed Origocrust and Cryston Fiber into a Cryston Component using the Gearing Unit. Take note that you will need two of each input to ensure that the Gearing Unit does not stall from a lack of materials. |
| Buck Capsule A Production Line |
|---|
![]() The first ingredient you need when making the Buck Capsule A is Ground Buckflower Powder. You can make this by shredding Buckflowers, then grinding it with Sandfleaf Powder. Make sure to connect two of the Shredding Unit's outputs with the Grinding Unit. |
![]() The second ingredient you need are Steel Bottles. To make them, you must first refine Ferrium to make Ferrium, then shred it to make Ferrium Powder. Afterward, feed two Ferrium Powder outputs into a Grinding Unit with Sandleaf Powder. This will give you Dense Ferrium Powder, which you must then refine into Steel. Do this twice, and feed both Steels into a Moulding Unit to turn them into Steel Bottles. |
![]() To craft Buck Capsule A without any waste or clogging, you must feed two Ground Buckflower Powder inputs and two Steel Bottle inputs into a Filling Unit, resulting in a Buck Capsule A. |

The production line for the SC Valley Battery is very similar to that of the LC Valley Battery, with the only difference being that it uses Ferrium Parts instead of Amethyst Parts. Refine Ferrium Ore into Ferrium before passing it through a Fitting Unit to make Ferrium Parts. Meanwhile, you must also shred Originium Ore into Originium Powder.
To prevent waste and clogging, make sure to feed two Ferrium Part inputs and three Originium Powder inputs into a Packaging Unit to make an SC Valley Battery every ten seconds. If you want to maximize your power output, you can output the batteries to up to four Thermal Banks per Packaging Unit.

At this point in the game, you should have access to most, if not all, of the mining areas in Valley IV. To further increase your ore collection rate, you must improve your Regional Development Level. This not only unlock new ore nodes, but it also increases ore node purity, increasing the amount you can get from them.
Regional Development Management Guide
SC Valley Batteries provide almost double the power that LC Valley Batteries can, so make sure to swap to SC Valley Batteries as soon as you can.
Because of how similar the recipes are, you should have little problem converting your LC Valley Battery production lines to start producing SC Valley Batteries instead.
Thermal Bank Recipes and How to Use

Since you should already have access to the AIC Steward found near your PAC and Sub-PAC Hubs, make sure to further expand your factories, namely by unlocking more Depot Buses to help streamline your production lines.
To get the Stock Bills needed to expand your factory, you can either do Outpost Trading, or participate in stock market trading in the Stock Redistribution facility.
