| 1 | Ruan Yi can deflect all attacks. Use Xiranite to break his protection to deal effective DMG to him. |
| 2 | At low HP, this enemy enters an Infuriated state. Use Xiranite to break this state and apply Weakened on the enemy for an extended period. When Infuriated, Ruan Yi can summon Wrothful Roots of Bane that explode when the controlled operator gets too close. |
| 3 | Xiranite Energy will coalesce and appear in the battlefield to offer support. Touch the Xiranite Energy at the right timing to activate it and suppress Ruan Yi. |
How to Beat Ruan Yi
- Do Not Attack During Early Fight
- Collect Xiranite Energy to Weaken Ruan Yi
- Avoid Wrothful Roots of Bane
- Dodge Incoming Attacks
Do Not Attack During Early Fight
At the beginning of the first phase, Ruan Yi will deflect all attacks and take no damage. Do not attack him during this state to avoid getting knocked back and possibly taking damage.
Collect Xiranite Energy to Apply Weakened
During his first phase, there will be 3 Xiranite Energy orbs scattered around the area. Collect all Xiranite Energy orbs to apply Weakened to Ruan Yi, taking him out of his invulnerable state.
In his second phase, he regains half his HP back and enters the Infuriated state. Collect all Xiranite Energy orbs scattered around to take him out of the Infuriated state that will stagger and suppress him for an extended period.
Avoid Wrothful Roots of Bane
Once he enters the Infuriated state, Ruan Yi will start summoning Wrothful Roots of Bane around the area. Avoid these roots because they will explode once you get near them, trying to stop you from gathering energy.
Dodge Incoming Attacks
During his first phase, Ruan Yi will have jumping slam attacks that will release a blue shockwave that can also deal damage. You can run far away to avoid the slam, then dodge the shockwave once it reaches you.
Meanwhile, in his Infuriated state, Ruan Yi will be quickly charging towards you, which can knock you far back. There will be a red rectangle cue that determines the direction he will charge. Dodge or run away from the direction to avoid the attack.
