These are all the characters with skills that can help cultivate growths and ores in the Growth Chamber.
Do take note that you may need to promote them to certain levels to acquire these skills, albeit it's not an immediate priority.
| Material | Characters |
|---|---|
| Fungal Growths | Operator Promotion |
| Crystalline Growths | Skill Enhancement |
| Rare Ores | Weapon Progression |
Rare materials are used for specific purposes. Fungal growths like boletes are typically used for Operator Promotion, while rare growths like the Kalkodendra are used to advance Operators' skills.
Operators can help with the growth of some of these items, so choose which of them can help with the growth of a specific item type and assign them to the Growth Chamber.

In the early stages of the game, where Operator advancement is still hard to come by, feel free to assign any Operator to the Growth Chamber to keep the cultivation of growths going.
So long as there are Operators present, the cultivation of growths will progress faster than when left to grow alone.
In correlation to the previous point, don't worry too much about having to promote Operators solely for the reason of acquiring Dijiang assignment skills.
Especially in the early stages of the game, it would be wiser to save up your promotional resources for Operators who actually need them.

To begin, you must first extract seeds and cores from rare growths and ores. To do this, you must first have at least one of these growths on hand.
Do take note that extracting seeds and cores from growths will consume them, so if you plan on progressing certain Operators, it would be best to save some for them.

After extraction, go ahead and plant these seeds and cores into the Growth Slots. The higher your Control Nexus is, the more you can upgrade your Growth Chamber.
The higher the level of your Growth Chamber is, the more Growth Slots will become available.

After planting your seeds and cores, select Operators to assign to the Growth Chamber to help with the cultivation.
If you have Operators with skills that can help further the cultivation process, be sure to assign them first!

After some time, the growths will have matured, so return to the Growth Chamber and claim them!
Afterwards, you have the option to regrow the same growths or manually plant new ones.

| Level | Benefits |
|---|---|
| 2 |
・Growth Chamber Unlocked ・Assignment Limit (2 > 3) ・MFG Cabin Level Cap (1 > 2) |
| 3 |
・Multi-Purpose Selection Unlocked ・Assignment Limit (3 > 4) ・Unconstructed Cabin (1 > 2) ・Growth Chamber Level Cap (1 > 2) |
| 4 |
・MFG Cabin Level Cap (2 > 3) ・Reception Room Level Cap (1 > 2) |
| 5 |
・Growth Chamber Level Cap (2 > 3) ・Reception Room Level Cap (2 > 3) |
To level up the Growth Chamber, you must first level up Dijiang's Control Nexus. Doing so increases the level cap for all cabins.

Afterwards, go to Growth Chamber and spend Aerospace Materials acquired from Recycling Stations to level it up. This will unlock more Operator assignment slots for the chamber, as well as more Growth slots!

Recycling Stations are found all across Talos-II, usually with an owl perching on top of them.
Spend Stock Bills to activate and upgrade Recycling Stations to increase your Regional Development Level, and increase the Aerospace Materials they yield!

The Growth Chamber is an excellent way to garner as many progression materials as you can on a daily basis.
Be sure to keep cultivation going constantly and claim them every day to ensure you never run out of progression materials!
Dailies: Things to Do Everyday

To first unlock the Growth Chamber, you must first reach Exploration Level 3 and complete the Dijiang Upgrade and Maintenance II mission.

Once unlocked, the Growth Chamber will be in the Working Sector of the OMV Dijiang, which is to the east of the map.
