External Detonation Step 1
To begin, press forward and attack the power node right next to the gate at the end to open it.

External Detonation Step 2
Pay attention to the moving platform. The power node at the center of the stage controls its movement.
Facing the power node from the entrance, the first chest of the stage is to the right. Wait for the platform to go there, then attack the node to hold the platform in place.
Then, use it to reach the chest.

Go back down and hit the power node to move the platform. Wait for it to reach the other side, then attack the power node to immobilize it. Afterwards, use the platform to reach the higher area.

Take an explosive and hit the power node right next to the gate in front of you to open it. Proceed forward afterwards.

Above the room ahead are the explosives next to a seesaw platform, and 4 power nodes in the room beyond.
Facing the power nodes from behind the explosives, you will notice that the two on the left are higher, and the two on the right are lower.
Take an explosive and stand on the right end of the seesaw to lower it. Then hit the ones on the right. The left ones can easily be hit as there will be no fence to block them from view.

Drop to the area below to come across moving power nodes and an explosive generator.
To hit the moving nodes, a good rule of thumb is to throw the explosive when the power nodes reach the edge of your predictive circle.
Hit all three nodes to open the gate to the left.

Before you proceed, look all the way to the right to spot one last node. Either hit this with an explosive, or approach and hit it to open the gate beside it. The second chest should be behind it.
Afterwards, proceed to the final area.

Three platforms will be present in the next area: two that can be controlled by power nodes, and one that is perpetually moving.
Hit the node just ahead of you to make the first platform move.
Wait for the moving platform to align with it, then jump to the center platform.
Don't forget to grab the final chest!

Take an explosive from the generator and hit the power node at the other side of the gap to make the third platform move.
Again, time your jumps correctly and wait for the platforms to align. Then make your way to the other side and to the exit.

Main Objective Make smart use of the explosives and reach the exit.

In External Detonation, you will need to make clever use of explosives to hit power nodes and open gates. Apart from that, it will require precise aim and timing as some elements in this stage will be moving.

Delver of the Cryptic

External Detonation is the sixth stage of the Cryptic First Revealed stage set in the Delver of the Deep permanent game mode, in which you are tasked to complete puzzles that involve critical thinking.

There will be no enemies in Delver of the Cryptic stages, and you will only be allowed to bring one Operator in each stage.
