How to Unlock Environment Monitoring

Progress to Wuling and Finish The Surging Tide Quest

Surging Tide Unlock
You will have to progress to the second region of the game, Wuling, and finish The Surging Tide quest, which requires you to repair the area's Monitoring Station.

Once finished, you unlock the area's RDM and alongside it, the Environment Monitoring feature.

How to Do the Photograph Quests

  1. Go to the Environment Monitoring Tab
  2. Select any Photography Quest From Terminal
  3. Track and Go to the Mission Area
  4. Aim at the Target Object and Snap a Photo

Go to the Environment Monitoring Tab of Wuling

Monitoring Step 1

Head to the Environment Monitoring tab of Wuling. This tab is unlocked first in Wuling's RDM, and there will be several Photography Quests that you can check.

Select any Photography Quest From the Terminal

Monitoring Step 2
Choose any of the Photography Quests from the Environment Monitoring tab to start them. They will appear on your Quest Log afterward, and you can track them.

Track and Go to the Mission Area Then Enter Camera Mode

Monitoring Step 3
Track the mission location and find the area where you can Enter Camera Mode, which allows you to locate the subject nearby with a camera mode.

Aim at the Target Object and Snap a Photo

Monitoring Step 4
Align your camera at the target object and snap a photo! Make sure to get the subject in-frame to properly finish the quest and get the rewards!

Environment Monitoring is a feature of the Regional Development first unlocked in Wuling that allows you to snap photos of different environments as part of the photography quests in the area, with Stock Bills as rewards.
