Searing Scars Stage Details
| Stage | Description and Mechanics |

| Stage 1 | ・Enemies are stronger and harder to interrupt. ・The elite enemies will fight as a team, and additional enemies will appear. ・Tacticals and consumables cannot be used. ・Enemies have the same resistances against every element. |
| Stage 2 | • Enemies are stronger and additional enemies will appear. • Exploding Firemist Originium Slugs spawn periodically. • Operators cannot perform Perfect Dodge. • Tacticals and consumables cannot be used. • Enemies have the same resistance against every element. |
| Stage 3 |
• Enemies regularly enter an Enraged state that constantly applies Heat Infliction on themselves, granting ATK Bonus and DMG Reduction buffs based on the number of Heat Infliction stacks. • During Enraged, operators cannot regenerate SP naturally. • Tacticals and consumables cannot be used. • Enemies have the same resistance against every element. |
The aforementioned stages are treated as if Agony Mode was selected.

How to Unlock Umbral Monument
Complete Paving the Way Mission
To unlock Umbral Monument, you need to complete the Chapter I Process II: Paving the Way main mission.

Reach Authority Level 30
An additional requirement to unlock Umbral Monument is to reach Authority Level 30. You can earn Operational EXP by spending sanity points, playing through missions, and finishing daily tasks.

How to Play Umbral Monument
- Defeat Enemies Within the Time Limit
- Deploy a Team of Four Operators
- Cannot Use Tacticals in Agony Mode
Defeat Enemies Within the Time Limit
Each Umbral Monument stage features a time limit to defeat enemies. As long as you complete the stage before the timer runs out, you will receive the full set of rewards.
Deploy a Team of Four Operators
Before starting an Umbral Monument stage, you must deploy a maximum of 4 Operators for each battle. Each stage has its own mechanics and recommended operator level. Plan your team and gear up your operators to deploy for each stage!
Cannot Use Tacticals in Agony Mode
Tacticals are consumable items operators can use during combat. Although you can use Tacticals in Normal mode, you cannot use Tacticals during combat in Agony mode.

Clearing the stages for the first time will reward you with Mark of Perseverance, T-Creds, Advanced Cognitive Carrier, Arms INSP Set, and Protohedron as rewards.
Obtain a Medal for Completing a Series
Engraved medals can also be obtained for completing every stage of a series in Normal mode. Complete all stages in Agony mode, and Endmins can receive a trimmed version of the Engraved Medal instead!

Monumental Etching Rewards
Monumental Etching is a recurring event that runs at the same time for this game mode's series releases. This event rewards players with Oroberyls, among others, when they complete the objectives for the current series.
