Spend Sanity on Protocol Spaces

Arknights Endfield - A Protocol Space Appears

The fastest way to increase Authority Level is to spend Sanity on Protocol Spaces, which are Arknights: Endfield's version of dungeons with rewards for completion.

It will always take a certain amount of Sanity to enter, but successfully finishing a Protocol Space will provide you with its listed reward, as well as a chunk of Operational EXP, which is required to increase Authority Level.

Finish Daily Tasks

Arknights Endfield - Daily Tasks

Another way to quickly gain Operational EXP and increase Authority Level is to complete your Daily Tasks. These are simple quests that provide bursts of Operational EXP, and are the next most consistent source after doing Rifts.

Play Through the Main Missions

Arknights Endfield Progress Through the Story

Playing the Main Missions is also recommended for increasing Authority Level, as these all give large amounts of Operational EXP upon completion. This also progresses the story of Arknights: Endfield, allowing further progress into the game.

Complete the Operation Manual

To increase Authority Level quickly, players should also aim to complete the Operation Manual missions, which are a set of tasks designed to guide the player's progression. These provide Operational EXP, alongside other rewards like Arsenal Tickets.

Explore the World of Talos-II

Arknights Endfield - Discoveries in the World give Operational EXP

Several exploration-related mechanics also provide bits of Operational EXP. These include opening chests, unlocking teleport points, constructing mining rigs, and more. This encourages you to explore as much of Talos-II as you roam the regions.

While the gain on these activities is significantly lower, they can add up over time and go a long way if players are consistent in their exploration.
