Arknights: Endfield stats are separated into Strength, Agility, Intellect, and Will. See what these stats mean for your Characters here, along with how you can increase them!

All four stats a character has are set to provide your character's defensive attributes. Each one has their own specific effect.
Strength
The Strength Stat provides the operator with a flat Max HP Bonus effect. The more Strength you have, the bigger the bonus HP for your character, which makes them somewhat bulkier.
Agility
Agility provides the Operator with Physical Resistance. This means it provides some form of damage cut to physica-based attacks like strikes from enemies.
Intellect
Intellect is the counterpart of Agility, as it provides the Operator with Arts resistance. This will help with reducing the damage from magic-based attacks, which include element-based attacks.
Will
Will helps with a character's survivability, as it increases the value of heals they receive from all sources. Heals from items and arts from your other Operators will be accounted for in this stat!
Main and Secondary Attributes
Preferred Stats for Operators
Each Operator will have their designated Main and Secondary Attributes, which will be highlighted accordingly in the Character preview screen. The icon will be highlighted Yellow if it is a Main Attribute, and gray if it is a Secondary Attribute.
Ideally, you want to focus on giving these two stats as much as possible, depending on the character, as a guideline.
ATK Bonus Based on Main and Secondary Attributes
The character will receive an additional ATK bonus based on a percentage of the final value of your Main and Secondary Attributes. This means it also takes into account any value increase coming from your Weapon, its Essence, Gear, and any active Passive Sets.

How to Increase Stats
Level Up Characters
Leveling up your Operators will automatically increase the base value of each of their stats, including the Main and Secondary stats.
Equip Weapons
Not only does your Weapon provide an ATK boost, providing an overall damage boost, but it also provides Passive Stat levels. When fulfilled, these passive stats can provide more stats to the character.
Equip Gear
Do not forget to equip Gear to your Operators on the field, as they also provide some boosts to stats. This is on top of any possible Passive Sets that can trigger when equipped with a full set of Gear and Weapons with the same passive.
